Zesty

Zesty is an Advanced AWS Technology Partner firm that offers a state-of-the-art Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that allows its customers to optimize their AWS costs. The intelligent solution looks into a client’s current AWS footprint and ensures the best use of storage capacity as well as the most optimal purchasing of computing instances – giving a significant boost to savings.

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, the company started its journey as Cloudvisor, and later changed its branding to Zesty. Along the way, it secured a seed funding of $6.6 million. The company grew at a fast rate as more and more customers signed up.

The Challenge

With the launch of its new branding, Zesty also launched a new website. It wanted to reach out to potential customers and establish its brand as a thought leader in AWS-related technologies and FinOps.

The old site had a few blogs but was not regularly updated, and some content needed rework to make them relevant to a broader audience. The marketing team was growing, but Zesty needed technical specialists who could produce high-quality content regularly. It also wanted to create gated content to capture leads.

The Solution

Zesty contacted Professional Data Skills in 2020 to create a few articles for its soon-to-be-live website. Once the initial project was delivered, Zesty was impressed with the quality and awarded the task of updating its existing blogs.

Working closely with Zesty’s marketing team, ProDataSkills senior consultants identified the content requirements, target audience, and value proposition to offer. Once the analysis was completed, its authors began to create more content for the site.

Over the next few months, Professional Data Skills created several articles and two eBooks related to AWS, storage options, EC2 cost optimization, and FinOps best practices.

The contents were written by authors with years of experience in the field. Each content was peer-reviewed by other tech experts and then edited for the final product.

The Result

Today, Zesty can boast a growing library of AWS and FinOps-related articles on its website as part of its inbound marketing strategy. With ProDataSkills working as an extension of its own marketing team and taking care of the digital content marketing side, Zesty has been able to invest its marketing resources in other enabling projects.
